Many years of valuable experience in the energy sector has resulted in the development of products specifically designed to meet the exacting needs of this industry. On wellhead and platform installations it is of prime importance that the compressed air or gas supply is free from contamination. Norgren achieves this with its proven range of stainless steel air and gas preparation products.

Available in 316 stainless steel, Norgren Stainless Steel products meet NACE Standard MR-01-75, to resisting sulfide stress cracking and discoloration in well-head and corrosive environments. With versions to remove water, particulates and oil, F22 filter elements have large cross sectional areas to deliver high flowrates with minimal pressure drop. Users of Norgren’s F22 filter systems report production gains due to better filtration and reduced contamination in sensitive instruments and valve positioning systems.

F22 filters are equipped with 316 stainless steel manual drains, or with an automatic drain that opens when a specified liquid level is attained, making it especially well suited for unmanned satellite platforms. Comprehensive service kits are available for all units to ensure optimum performance levels are maintained, while maintenance friendly construction methods guarantee minimum service times.

The maintenance cycle of the new F22H oil removal filter is further extended when used as part of Norgren’s three-stage filtration system. Two general purpose filters placed upstream remove water and particles of 25 microns and then 5 microns - before they can contaminate the coalescing oil removal element. The three-stage system comes with brackets for panel mounting to fit into a compact footprint.
