Challenge:
A customer in the medical industry needed an automated way to clean contamination build-up from a 
sensor eye. They required a compact design that would fit into their machine.
Solution:
Bimba combined the proven Original Line technology with the long lasting Twist Clamp design in order to create the perfect solution. The Original Line Twist Clamp cylinder consists of an original line cylinder with a brush mounted to the end of the rod. As the cylinder extends it also rotates, causing the brush to sweep across the eye of the sensor, cleaning it in one cycle. The compact design was able to meet dimensional constraints where other solutions were failing.
